INDEX to the NCLSN:  VOLUMES 1- 30

Compiled by MaryAnn K. Crawford and Norman T. Gates

This is the third edition of the NCLSN index, updated to include entries through volume 30.  The first edition, vols. 1-20, and the second, vols. 1-25, were compiled by MaryAnn K. Crawford and the late Fred D. Crawford who first suggested the possibility of an index to the NCLSNWe hope the index continues to offer easy access to the wealth of information that Norman T. Gates has provided during his thirty-year editorship of the NCLSN. Thanks are due as well to the help of David Wilkinson, Associate Editor of the NCLSN.  All RA scholars are immeasurably richer for Norman and David's work.

References are numbered sequentially to identify volume, issue, and page, e.g., 20.2.3 indicates volume 20, number 2, page 3.  Boldface entries identify people whom RA knew (including his correspondents) and subjects directly related to RA's life, literary career, or reputation.  Under ALDINGTON, RICHARD are subcategories for BIBLIOGRAPHICAL REFERENCES, BIOGRAPHICAL REFERENCES, CONFERENCES, TRANSLATIONS, WEBSITES, and WORKS BY GENRE. We hope that the cross-referencing and multiple listings will help users reach their destinations by a number of alternate routes.                                                                         --MaryAnn and Norman, June 2003
